World Speed Motorsports and Joseph Burton-Harris partner-up for the Formula Car Challenge Triple Crown, starting this weekend at Portland International Raceway. Sponsored by Build CSQ, this first event will be exciting for everyone to see this athlete transition to the next level of his chosen sport.
Practice Day 1 has ended well with Joseph’s first day in the car a combination of excitement at being at yet another new track in Portland, Oregon. The track is surrounded in stunning trees, manicured lawns and filled with flat fast twisty corners. Even though he is still getting to know the car his times were the fastest on track with a lot more time available to find in both himself and in the tire.
Major learning curve today. It is great to be a part of a great team with World Speed Motorsports. Kevin, Skylar and Telo have made me feel very welcome and prepared a beautiful car for me today. More power, more grip with great aero and rocker package, more tire all means I have to learn quickly how to adapt all my previous experience from karts to formula mazda. It was a strong day but I am looking forward to tomorrow and more laps. ” Joseph Burton-Harris
